For pure strength and hangover creating ability the award goes to Beer Chang.
I was sure after 4 of these bad boys someone had spiked my drink as I had a bit of trouble walking and talking. But overall a great beer on a hot Thai day.

Most of the time I just drank BeerLao from Laos.
But to choose that would be unfair for Cambodia. So the Cambodian beer of choice the prize goes to Angkor Beer.

Now this one was a tough one with so many different beers to select from. So instead of one I have picked my top 3!
Coming in at number three is the cheap fresh draught beer sold on street corners and small food stalls across the country. Served with ice and very very cheap it is a worthy entrant.
The prize for the beer of choice was a close one and it was a difficult decision but the beer that took the number 2 spot was Saigon, either the Green or Red.
And the beer that takes the prize is Larue. Drunk this mainly in Hoi An and it was very nice both from the bottle and draught.

So the obvious choice would be Tsingtao but with it costing almost double in most places I preferred to drink Li Quan a much lighter beer.
There was actually alot of types of Li Quan but the one that was served the most was Li Quan Ice. This is the one they guaranteed would be cold!

Ok so this was a tough one and it turns out that this is the first tie of the trip.
So the winner in the south of Portugal is Sagres.
And then the winner in the north is Super Bock!!
Both worthy winners but I must admit it was tough to find room for beer in between glasses of port and caprihanas.

Not much to choose from in Turkey so the prize goes to the Efes Pilsen.
Even picked up a free ANZAC Day T-shirt when we bought a six pack for our game of two-up.

Probably my favourite beer so far – Niksicko
Very cheap and very good. At the shop across the road from the hostel you could pick up a 500ml bottle for 50 euro cents!!
